This collection contains 59 black and white lantern slides of birds, including puffins, titmice, cormorants, and razorbills from ornithological studies dating from the early 20th century.

Scope and Contents The collection consists of nearly 400 letters, 14 notebooks, a few incomplete, and most pertaining to Job’s scientific work. It also contains approximately 820 lantern slides from Job’s research in the the Northeastern United States and Canada from the early 1900s depicting waterfowl and other birds. This collection contains approximately 800 uncolored plates from Birds and Trees of North America. Plates depict scenes of plants and animals drawn by Rex Brasher during time on his farm in Kent, Connecticut.
